Kim Hosain has been loving on other people’s pets for over 13 years now. She offers dog walking and pet sitting services throughout the Tampa Bay area.
“I just treat them as if they were my own!” says Kim.
When people go on vacation, she is available to babysit their fur babies whether it is in their home or her own. Dogs are able to enjoy her large fenced in yard and have a built-in playmate with her 6-month-old Goldendoodle.
“He’s a good puppy, so happy, and loves other dogs!” said Kim. “Many homes in subdivisions are not allowed to have fenced-in yards, so clients like the idea of bringing their dogs to me so they can run and get a lot of exercise.”
Her love of animals is not just a job. It is a way of life. She really enjoys spending time with them. “Sometimes when you ask a neighbor to watch your pet while you are gone, they may do it out of kindness, but not really enjoy taking care of animals. I just love doing it!”
Her pet sitting is not limited to just dogs. She also takes care of cats, fish, and even has a client with a tortoise. She doesn’t have to walk the tortoise, luckily, but just keeps it well fed and its habitat clean.
